The 17-year old Sochi 19th placer (out of 24) in the World men’s skating competitions has finally gotten the appropriate attention he deserves from the Filipino government and its people.
Michael earned praises and admiration from the foreign community, as well, for his optimism despite financial constraints and significant obstacles that had assailed him. He dedicated his triumph to his family, God and his country.
