International Filipino Rock star, Arnel Pineda, and Journey’s documentary film, “Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey,” has made the cut to Gotham’s Top 5 Finalists for the Audience Award.

The other documentary films that made it to the Top 5 Gotham Independent Film Awards, after initial online voting from October 24 to November 5, are:

  • ”12 Years a Slave”
  • “Fruitvale Station”
  • “Best Kept Secrets”
  • “Jake Shimabukuro: Life on Four Strings”

The second round of online voting for the winner starts November 8 and would end on November 24, 2013. The awarding ceremonies would be on December 2, 2013.
