MANILA, Philippines – The Filipino parody of Psy’s Oppa Gangnam Style, “Opo Pinoy Style”, got more than a million hits on YouTube, in just one week, after it was uploaded on January 4, 2013, by Mikey Bustos.
Psy’s Gangnam Style has broken all records by reaching more than a billion hits on YouTube surpassing Justin Bieber’s “Baby.”
The YouTube video shows Mikey Bustos at Rizal Park, singing about chicharon, penoy, tinola, balut and other Filipino practices. The lady in the Amalayer incident is also featured.
It is a funny video that features the unique characteristic of Filipinos.
