It is official, Emblem3, X Factor’s 4th Placer, has signed up with Simon Cowell’s Syco Music through Columbia Records, as reported by entertainment news, January 9, 2013.

Emblem3 has a solid fan base, though, that had helped them sell their song on iTunes. Their performances on the X Factor Show were well applauded and praised by the judges, L.A. Reid, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell.

Simon Cowell had mentored them, and he said he was happy to be working with them again under Syco Music.

It can be recalled that it was Simon Cowell who also introduced another boy band, One Direction, to the music world. One Direction has been successful receiving awards and accolades. The most recent award was for their song “What Makes You Beautiful,” which won the Favorite Song in the recently concluded “The People’s Choice Award.”

X Factor  was voted “Favorite Competition Show,” and Demi Lovato as “Favorite Celebrity Judge.

Meanwhile, L.A. Reid is set to leave the show, while Britney Spears was reported to be quitting as well.

Would Emblem3 equal or surpass the achievements of One Direction? The answer to that question would be worth waiting for.
