MANILA, Philippines – The Dawn Zulueta and Richard Gomez pair is still one of Philippine entertainment’s favorite couples.
This is because the two complement each other perfectly; Richard with his tall, dark and handsome looks, and Dawn Zulueta with her fair skin, svelte figure, and lovely face.
The couple just recently starred in a TV series entitled “Walang Hanggan” and it was well-received by TV viewers. Their chemistry is unmistakable in spite of being happily married to their own lifetime partners; Richard to Rep. Lucy Torres and Dawn to Rep. Anton Lagdameo Jr. Both their better-halves are in politics. Richard and Dawn could have ended up together, but fate has other plans for them.
Dawn praised Richard saying, in not so many words, that he grew more handsome as the years went by; like a wine that grows sweeter with time. Likewise Richard said Dawn was even more beautiful when she became older.
Producers are now trying to plan another movie come back for Richard Gomez & Dawn Zulueta. This would surely thrill their fans no end. If plans would push through, then it would be spectacular because, despite their ages, they still look fresh and good to look at.
Perhaps, a “Guy & Pip”, “Edu & Vi,” “Robin & Kris,” could still be viable options as well? What about a “Gabby Concepcion & Sharon Cuneta” movie? This pair deserves a comeback film in their adult images. Their acting ability would cover-up for any ravages that old age might have inflicted.
A plot that spans several decades, with flash backs, could do the trick. Younger stars could play the role of the younger versions. Ingenious directors could make the young stars a spitting image of the genuine, older stars, through make-up and lighting. Directors could make anything happen on screen. The movie would surely be a treat for Richard Gomez & Dawn Zulueta fans.
