Colton Dixon’s elimination from the Top 7 America Idol 2012 list on April 19 was a “shocker” just like Jessica’s least votes last week.
Colton has been leading in social networking sites at Facebook and Twitter and had never been in the bottom 3, and that was the first and the last time he would be in it.
He promised Randy, Steven and Jennifer that he will remember their pointers when he starts recording his songs, to which the judges responded with more encouragement.
Colton Dixon said, in his curtain call, that he would miss the people he had worked with and the remaining 6 contestants on American Idol and that he couldn’t wait for the American Idol Tour. The other AI contestants were shocked with the results.

“I am just so humbled and thankful for this chance given to me…”
“We are all messengers. We are called by God to tell our stories. It’s been so amazing…”
“To all my fans, I could not have done this without you… it’s amazing, and I just want to thank you so much.”
