After Colton Dixon’s shocking elimination from the American Idol Top 7 list, he continues to be busy with his singing career. He recently performed on “Live with Kelly” on April 23, 2012, as entertainment reports revealed.
Reportedly, Kelly Ripa, the show’s host, said that “America made a mistake…” for sending Colton home too soon.
Colton said that he missed American Idol, but by being voted off, he could “start writing his songs and meeting people.”
Colton Dixon performed his song “Everything” on “Live with Kelly, which was also his final song at American Idol, after he was eliminated.
He constantly and openly said that “Everything” is a religious song and encourages viewers not to be shy in expressing their faith.
Colton will be joining the other American Idol members for a tour this summer. Music experts believe that it is not the end of Colton’s career. He has incredible talent that would make him successful in the entertainment industry.
