Latino Carlito Olivero wowed the X Factor USA Season 3 Judges, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, Paulina Rubio and Simon Cowell, to earn a standing ovation during auditions in LA.
Carlito Olivero, 23, from Barista, Los Angeles, California, works in a coffee shop. He sang “Stay” by Rihanna beautifully that everyone was impressed. His voice had a unique, wonderful tremor that made the judges love him.
He was also an excellent performer, entertaining the audience like a pro. The audience eventually stood up for him and accorded him a thunderous applause.
Simon Cowell was enthusiastic:
“I actually like everything about you. I like your voice. I like your charisma. I think you’re really good. There’s no one around like you at the moment. I just saw you from the side profile. I look at you there, and I think, this kid looks like a real star.”
Demi Lovato commented:
“Your voice actually reminds me of a cross between Frankie J. and Trey Songz.”
Paulina Rubio was awed:
“Carlito, I adore you.”
Kelly Rowland was positive:
“We’re witnessing a star, Carlito. It’s an absolute yes!”
Simon followed it up:
“This is a very, very easy yes. Congratulations.”
All of the four judges said “Yes.”
