The legendary band, BTS, keeps breaking records as they earned their first 2022 awards.
On January 24, 2022, Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced the result of the 2021 National Image Survey.
BTS ranked 1st among Koreans who have had a positive impact on the national image of Korea, garnering a 15,1% of the total votes. It’s another record in K-pop history.
Recently, BTS also won 8 awards from the 11th Gaon Musical Chart Awards for their 2021 songs.

The Grammy Awards is fast approaching and this is an event that BTS and ARMY are waiting for. BTS was nominated for “Butter” in the Best Pop Duo or Group Performance.
BTS has won in all American award music shows, except for the Grammys. Winning their first award at the Grammys would make them the first – ever Asian artist to have received awards from America’s popular music shows.
