BTS continues to rule the music industry locally and internationally with whatever things or events they are involved in.

Their latest webtoon series: “7 Fates Chakho” has gained more than 15 million cumulative views just two days after its opening date. This sets the highest record for webtoon launches on Naver.

7 Fates Chakho also ranks #1 in six global regions namely; France, Germany, Indonesia, LATAM, North America, and Thailand.

The BTS members play these roles in 7 Fates Chakho:

RM as Doegon
Jin as Hwan
Suga as Cein
J-Hope as Hosu
Jimin as Haru
V as Jooan
Jungkook as Zeha

The official soundtrack of the 7 Fates Chakho, “Stay Alive”, produced by Suga and vocals by Jungkook, will be released on February 11, 2022, Friday. For sure, ARMY are stoked and excited for this new release.

Previously, BTS’ webtoon series were “We On” in 2014 and “Save Me” in 2019.

BTS also won three awards in the recently concluded 31st Seoul Music Awards (SMA):

• World Best Artist (Daesang)
• Bonsang (Main Prize)
• U + Idol Live Best Artist

These SMA awards have maintained their status as the “Artist with the Most Daesangs in K-pop History”, with 64 daesangs.

To date, BTS is the only Korean act with 86 songs above 100 million Spotify streams. The next group has only 19 songs in this category. The latest song added to the list is Butter remix with Megan Thee Stallion.

BTS is also the most streamed song by a Korean act on Spotify with “Dynamite” gaining 1,232,974,339, as of January 24, 2022.

Worldwide, BTS is ranked #3 (86 songs), among Spotify’s artists with the most songs with over 100 million streams. Drake came at rank #1 (167 songs), while Bad Bunny was ranked #2 (101 songs).

The status of BTS in the music industry is now undebatable, they are pitted with the biggest names in the international music industry, and they continue to gain more foothold in every aspect. Eventually, they will outrank any artist in the world.

Meanwhile on the Global Shazam Chart, “My Universe” by Coldplay and BTS was at #49, Christmas Tree was at #67, as of January 23, 2022.

Rolling Stone has named BTS as #4 of the 25 Most Stylish Musicians Now. This list was chosen by noted designers, journalists and fashion-industry insiders.

According to Rolling Stone:

“BTS has always been adventurous with their fashion as they are with their music, breaking down gender norms one leather corset at a time.”

Jungkook has created, once again, another word bound to become another addition to the Webster dictionary as he named Chipotle as Chicotle, during their Bangtan Bomb episode after the Late, Late Show by James Corden.

Chipotle replied to Jungkook’s statement by acknowledging the word, “chicotle”.

BTS ARMY are also actively involved in streaming “Butter” The Song of the Summer, and the Best-Selling Song of 2021, while maintaining their lead on BB’s Hot Trending Songs, with more than 1.327 million votes.

As ARMY kept the lead on the BB chart, the BTS members have dropped their self-designed merchandizes on the HYBE’s store.

Jungkook designed an ARMYST Zip Up Hoody, and a Mikrokosmos Mood Lamp. These merchs suit JK’s personality. Who wouldn’t want to listen to his soothing voice while looking above the delightful colors of his mood lamp?

Jin designed a Good Day and Bad Day Pajama and a Good Day and Bad Day Pillow. The eldest of the Bangtan Boys recognizes the need to set the correct sleeping mood.

True to his nature-loving self, RM designed an ARMY Jogger Pants and Bungeo-Ppang Wind Chime. You can go Namjooning with the comfortable jogger pants and then go home and rest, while listening to the beautiful wind chime.
