BTS continues to break records around the world in the music industry as the phenomenal group added another feather to their cap.

The legendary septet, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook won the American Music Awards Artist of the Year last 2021, the first-ever win of a non-English speaking act in AMAs history.
First in Person BTS Concert in 2021
Afterwards, BTS held their first in-person sold-out concert for four nights at the Sofi Stadium in LA, meeting more than 200K fans. The number of attendees is impressive amidst the pandemic’s scare. Not all concerts have achieved such significant numbers.

BTS Breaks the Record in IFPI History
The latest record-breaking feat of BTS is being the First Act in IFPI History to rank #1 for two consecutive years.
As the unprecedented news broke, ARMYs trooped to Twitter to express their elation, and the hashtag (#) FIRST ACT IN HISTORY trended.
BTS won the 2020 IFPI Global Recording Artist of the Year Award and the 2021 IFPI Global Recording Artist of the Year Award.
No one – ever – in the entire music industry, was able to do that.

For BTS, they started to chart on IFPI’s Top Ten in 2018 at #2 with Love Yourself: Tear and Love Yourself: Answer.
In 2019, BTS charted at #7 with their album Map of the Soul: Persona.
In 2020, BTS ranked #1 with their album Map of the Soul:7, Map of the Soul: The Journey, and BE.
In 2021, BTS again remained a #1 with their album BE Essential and BTS the Best and Butter.
