Two days after the successful BTS concert in Busan, South Korea, BigHit Entertainment, BTS’ company announced that the group will be enlisting in the military, starting with the eldest member, Kim Seokjin (Jin).
The legendary Septet had always announced their willingness to fulfill their duty to their country and so, they are now doing it.
The decision of BTS military exemption had been the subject of debate in the South Korean government and it was taking them so long to decide whether to grant them an exemption or not.
The boys finally pulled the plug and made their own narrative by stopping all debates about it and deciding to enlist.
The BTS ARMY, the boys’ fandom, respected the group’s decision and vowed that they would wait for them no matter how long it would take.

Millions of tweets like these positive messages ruled Twitter after the announcement. The BTS ARMYs have accepted the news splendidly and are willing to wait – even if it would take forever.
The group’s label also announced that BTS will come together as a group in 2025.
ARMYs are not worried, they will make sure that the BTS reunion in 2025 will be the biggest comeback in entertainment history.
