BTS, the boy band from South Korea, has sold out tickets for its Citi Field, U.S. show within one hour on August 17, Friday. This is an outstanding feat no other Asian group has ever accomplished on American soil.
It would also be the first U.S. stadium performance of the band. Citi Field posted the evidence on its Twitter account.
Thank you, #BTSArmy! Due to overwhelming demand, tickets are no longer available for the @bts_bighit show at this time. We hope to see you on Oct. 6th. pic.twitter.com/Wqd6HGVF5n

BTS has earned various international awards; one of them was the Top Social Artist on May 21, 2017 at the Billboard Music Awards. They won this award the succeeding year as well, making them the only Korean Artists winning the award two years in a row.
Their LP “Fake Love” has debuted #1 on the US Billboard 200 – a phenomenal performance that no other Asian music artist ever achieved. “Fake Love” also has also made the international circuit when Mexican fans picked it up after the South Korea football team won against Germany during the FIFA competition.
The boys had only to thank their loyal BTS Army (BTS fans) all over the world for making these wonderful things happen to them
