American Idol Season 12 to Return January 16 with New Judges Randy Jackson, Keith Urban, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj

The American Idol Season 12 will return on January 16 and 17, 2012 from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, with new judges Randy Jackson, Keith Urban, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. Ryan Seacrest remains the host for American Idol 2013.

American Idol Season 11 ‘s alumni are doing well with winner Phillip Phillips’Home”  receiving a double platinum certification.

He also recently sang the US National Anthem during the opening of the World Series where the San Francisco Giants won over the Detroit Tigers, 2-0.

Runner-up Jessica Sanchez has been officially included in the popular drama-musical TV series “Glee.” She had also signed a contract with the popular fastfood chain Jollibee as an endorser of its food products.

Meanwhile, Lauren Alaina, Scotty McCreery and Casey James would be guesting in Las Vegas at the American Country Awards on Monday, December 10, 2012.

Fans could vote until November 12 for their American Idol alumni Lauren Alaina, Carrie Underwood, and Casey James to the American Country Awards. Judge Keith Urban is also nominated.

The American Idol Season 12 is expected to bring in more viewers as the show enlisted new judges and a presumably new atmosphere of fun and music.
