According to American Idol, the last AI Season 12 Auditions would be in Clarksdale, MS at the Delta Blues Museum on August 19, 2012, and in Joplin, MO, at the Landreth Park on August 22, 2012. American Idol Season will return on January 2013.
Meanwhile, the Season 11 American Idol Top 10 finalists are presently on the road for the remaining leg of their live tour. There are still 13 venues across the U.S. they are scheduled to perform in, before they proceed to the last stop, which is the Philippines, Jessica Sanchez’s home country.
The next American Idol Live Tour performances will be at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA on August 19, the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, on August 21, at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY on August 22, and at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, ME on August 25.
The American Idol 2012 Live Tour past performances were well applauded, with the excellent renditions of the Top 10 finalists, Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet, Hollie Cavanagh, Skylar Laine, Elise Testone, Colton Dixon, Heejun Han, Erika Van Pelt, and DeAndre Brackensick.
