American Idol finalists, Skylar Laine and Colton Dixon, are two of the presenters at the 2012 CMT Music Awards.
Skylar and Colton will share the limelight with Jason Aldean and many more artists on Wednesday, June 6 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT.
American Idol alumni Carrie Underwood and Lauren Alaina are nominated for different categories, while Season 10 American Idol winner Scotty McCreery competes with Lauren Alaina for the “USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year” award. Scotty McCreery is nominated for “Trouble with Girls” and Lauren Alaina for “Georgia Peaches.”
Performers on the 2012 CMT Music Awards include American Idol grads, Kellie Pickler and Jordin Sparks, among many.
The show will be hosted by Toby Keith and Kristen Bell. Fans are encouraged to vote during the live telecast of the show, (ET/CT only) at CMT.com.
