Jessica Sanchez, currently one of the Top 4 Finalists of the American Idol Season 11, still continues to amaze the judges with her singing prowess.
In the whole history of the American Idol 2012 show, she is the fourth finalist and the first female contestant to receive the Judges’ Save.
There is no doubt that this young girl from San Diego, California has truly impressed the American Idol judges, which they explicitly expressed by their standing ovations during several of her performances.
Even by words, one of the judges, Jennifer Lopez, openly acknowledge that Jessica Sanchez is one of the best singers in America.
Jessica Sanchez indeed is a singer who loves her craft. In fact, she has practically been singing for most of her life. She started her singing as early as 2 years old.
At the age of 10, she performed on a show, “Showtime at the Apollo,” where she also got a standing ovation.
At age 11, she already appeared on another talent show which is “America’s Got Talent.” Now at 16 years old, Jessica Sanchez still continues to mesmerize America with her great singing voice on the American Idol 2012 Season 11.
Another notable singing activity that Jessica Sanchez got involved with was singing The Star-Spangled Banner in a National Football League. She sang before a matchup between San Diego Chargers and New York Jets on September 22, 2008. She then got invited a year later to sing the national anthem on a matchup between San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins.
Jessica Sanchez reveals that some people in the music industry who influence her type of music are Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Etta James and Michael Jackson. She also stated that Beyonce and Eminem are her personal favorite artists.
Despite her early impressive experiences in singing, her teachers still recall Jessica Sanchez to be very humble. She used to study at the Eastlake Middle School in Chula Vista where she considered physical education, choir and science as her favorite subjects. Currently, she is a homeschooled high school student in the eleventh grade.
Her family is surely proud of her, especially now that she is one of the superstars of American Idol 2012 Season 11. Her father, who is a Mexican American and a US Navy veteran and her mother, who is a Filipina from Bataan province in the Philippines, are surely both glowing with pride every time they watch Jessica Sanchez own the stage on each of her performances.
Presently, she is one of the Top 4 American Idol hopefuls for the remaining weeks of Season 11. Her thousands of fans around the world hope she will emerge the winner for 2012 American Idol Season 11 reality singing contest.
