MANILA, Philippines – Movie Director Michael Tuviera has tweeted a challenge to ALDUB fans to generate 10 million Tweets for the designated AlDub hashtag on Saturday. If the 10 million tweets will be achieved, it will break Twitter history, as the most retweeted hashtag to date.
Since the inception of the AlDub love team, its Twitter hashtags have trended daily in the Philippines and worldwide, breaking records of Philippine tweets, – and on Saturday – of Worldwide tweets.
The 10 million re-tweet challenge coincides with the scheduled first date of Alden Richards and Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza that was approved by Lola Nidora.
It’s a gift from Lola Nidora to the two lovebirds for their second monthsary celebration.
Recently, Director Joey Reyes has hinted that Alden and Maine will be a part of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) on December 2015.
Indeed the AlDub fever is here to stay.
