MANILA, Philippines – Class suspensions for Wednesday, July 16, 2014 due to Typhoon Glenda (Rammasun – international codename ) was announced by DepEd on its Facebook Page on Tuesday, July 15.
Glenda has already entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility, and is expected to be out of the country in the afternoon of Wednesday, July 16, 2014.

Public Service Advisory from Angeles City Local Govt. Unit:
Angeles City Mayor Ed Pamintuan has announced suspension of classes for tomorrow (July 16, Wednesday) from pre-school to high school level only for both public and private schools. The suspension shall remain in effect until further announcement from the Angeles City LGU. Nonetheless, all city hall employees are expected to report to their respective office tomorrow.
The center of the storm is in Albay, Catanduanes and neighboring areas. Public storm signal No. 2 was hoisted over Metro Manila, Pampanga, Bataan, Northern Quezon, including Polilio Island, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Biliran, Bulacan, Rizal, Northern part of Leyte, Rest of Eastern Samar and the rest of Samar.
