An Angeles University Foundation (AUF) Med. Tech. Graduate Batch 2013, Angela Aninang, has won the Miss Global Philippines 2015 Tourism Ambassador 3rd Runner Up in the recently concluded Miss Global Philippines 2015 beauty pageant.
Angela Aninang is 22 years old and hails from Negros Occidental but has studied Medical Technology at Angeles University Foundation. She’s described by her classmates as soft-spoken, serious and intelligent. She was a responsible student known to her professors as “Beauty and Brains.”
She worked briefly as a faculty member of the College of Allied Medical Professions – her home college – at Angeles University Foundation (AUF) before she joined the pageant.
On her FB account, Angela posted this:
“The Lord is faithful to His promises. Never doubt His plans and be always the best version of yourself.”
“Thank you everyone for all your warm greetings. One big lesson from this journey is that, if you fall down, there’s no other way but to stand up (though it cost me a lot.. char).
Looking back, I’m just thankful that all the sacrifices paid off.Salamat kaayo sa inyong tanan, Thank you everyone! My family, colleagues, friends, my dear students, future RMTs, Negros Occidental and Pampanga… people who were rooting for me that night… You guys are the best! Please continue to support me in my future endeavors.

Angela recounted that “…In the early part of the pageant nadapa po ako during resort’s wear competition but with God’s grace I was still able to bring home one of the crowns.”
The audience were shocked when Miss Global Philippines candidate #16 of Negros Occidental, Angelina Aninang, slipped on stage. But she regained her composure and confidence, and continued like nothing happened.
