A New Year has dawned upon us,
A new year to be hopeful and to look forward to.
First, we thank you God for blessing us with your generosity the past year.
We would not be here this new year without your all-abounding love.
We know that in the coming year, we would be needing again your constant blessings.
We could surely meet the challenges that come our way through your Divine Spirit and intervention.
During our life’s journey, may you remind us always to obey your commands and love one another as we would have loved you.
Bestow upon us a kindred soul that we may empathize with others and be their source of inspiration and hope.
As people of the world, make us realize that we are not here on earth alone for ourselves but also for others.
Allow us to see the Christ in each of the people around us and treat them kindly and lovingly.
As parents, may we be shining role models for our children and family.
Please help us to make you the center of our family and of our existence, so we can never go wrong.
Let us be good trees that bear good fruits by spreading your message of love and hope.
