MANILA, Philippines – The examination date for science scholarships for Filipino students is on September 22, 2013.
Graduating high school students, who would like to apply, should submit their application forms not later than August 23, 2013.
The Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) grants scholarships to deserving students under the DOST-SEI Science and Technology Undergraduate Scholarships through DepEd.
Interested students could download the application form from the DOST website or obtain forms from DOST compound in Bicutan.
Scholarships are also available for PhD and MS Degrees for graduate students who are Filipino citizens, not over 45 years old and should have passed designated exams for the scholarships.
For Undergraduate Scholarship privileges include tuition fee amounting to P8, 000 per sem/term, among others.
For Graduate Scholarships, Doctoral student’s stipend is P25, 000, while Master’s is P17, 000 per month. The deadline for filing of application for the second semester is September 6, 2013.
