Ruben Studdard, 34, revealed that he belongs to a family with hypertension history, so he wants to avoid being hypertensive, hence, the decision to lose weight.
It can be recalled that Ruben Studdard defeated contestant Clay Aiken – one of the favorites of the season – to win American Idol Season 2.
His version of Westlife’s “Flying Without Wings” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2003.
