“White House Down”, the Movie: Rated 50% by Critics and 74% by Audience

White House Down”, the movie has just premiered this Friday, June 28, 2013, and was rated 50% by 98 critics and 74% by the audience as disclosed by Rotten Tomatoes.

The film stars no less than the Sexiest Man Alive, Channing Tatum.

Jamie Foxx also stars as President James Sawyer in this drama-action-adventure-thriller about a White House siege led by Jason Clarke as Emil Stenz.

Other stars include Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jason Clarke and James Woods. It is directed by Roland Emmerich and written by James Vanderbilt.

The movie shows vivid images of the White House being attacked on air and from the ground that it reminds people of the 911 infamous attacks on American soil.

With the fast-paced action, sprinkled with humor, “White House Down”, could very well be the Friday Box Office Hit. Reactions of audience to the movie was generally good, with 74% liking it among 34,349 viewers.

Would it surpass, “Monsters University” which is no 1? Or “World War Z” in 2nd place? Or “Man of Steel” in 3rd place?
