MANILA, Philippines – Arnel Pineda, Journey’s Frontman, will be on “ASAP 18” for the Star-studded celebration of Star Cinema’s 20 Years in showbiz on Sunday, June 23, 2013.
The international rock star would perform together with another international pop star, Charice, and Asia’s premier singer, Lani Misalucha.
The ASAP family of stars would also be there to join in the celebration led by the three icons of the Filipino music industry, such as: Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera and Zsa Zsa Padilla.
Incidentally, Gary Valenciano is set to perform at the Angeles University Foundation in Pampanga on July 26, 2013 for the benefit of indigent patients at AUFMC.
Arnel Pineda has also a charitable institution, the Arnel Pineda Foundation Incorportion (APFI) for street children in the Philippines. The rock icon just came from a successful UK and Europe tour with his band mates, Neal Schon, Ross Valory, Jonathan Cain and Deen Castronovo.
ASAP 18 would also feature on Sunday, June 23, 2013 stars of the movie “4 Sisters and A Wedding” namely; Angel Locsin, Toni Gonzaga, and the rest of the cast.
It can be recalled that Angel Locsin came from GMATV 7, and reportedly, Sharon Cuneta, from TV 5, would soon join the ABS-CBN family, as well; mother and daughter (KC Concepcion) would soon belong to one network.
It seems ABS-CBN has the most talented pool of local and international artists, among all the Philippine TV channels.
On ASAP, Arnel Pineda leads the group of international artists with Charice. Charice has performed in key cities in Asia, the US and Europe.
Arnel Pineda, as the lead vocalist of Journey, has performed all around the world too in large venues, earning accolades with his band mates. Journey would continue its tour in the US on June 27 up to the month of September and perhaps, August, if new venues would be added due to public demand.
The performance of Arnel Pineda together with Charice and Lani Misalucha on ASAP 18 is something to look forward to this Sunday, June 23, 2013.
