Lazaro Arbos, a stuttering American Idol 2013 contestant, wowed the judges, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj, and Randy Jackson on Thursday, January 17, 2013.
Lazaro Arbos, 21, originally came from Cuba, but resides presently in Florida where he works as an ice cream scooper. He started stuttering at an early age of 6, but when he sings -“Wow”. He sang “Bridge over Troubled Water,” and the judges loved his rendition.
The powerful rendition of American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken is always remembered, but here comes one contestant that could equal Aiken’s performance. Mariah Carey embraced the teary-eyed Lazaro Arbos after all four judges voted for him to go Hollywood.
