The People’s Choice Award 2013 saw fans voting for Taylor Swift as Best Country Artist and One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” as the Favorite Song.
When Taylor Swift went to receive her award, the host Olivia Munn jokingly said that it was awkward to hand the award to a blonde. This was reminiscent of Kanye West’s actions during a previous award.
Taylor Swift was unflustered, going along with Munn’s joke and gamely delivering her speech afterwards, thanking her fans who voted for her.
One Direction won the Favorite Song with “What Makes You Beautiful” on the People’s Choice Award 2013, too. Harry Styles, Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend, is a member of One Direction.

The “Hunger Games” won several awards like Lawrence’s award, Favorite Movie, Favorite Movie Franchise, Favorite Action Movie and Favorite On-Screen Chemistry with its leading stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. Jennifer Lawrence also won the Favorite Face of Heroism.
“Hunger Games” won most of the awards during the People’s Choice Award 2013.
