MANILA, Philippines – GMA-7 has finally replied to Sarah Lahbati’s statement that she would have a leave of absence from showbiz, and go abroad to study. Sarah posted about her plans on her Twitter account, last January 2, 2012.
GMA-7 stated that:
“Her leave of absence was also disapproved by management because of her pending obligations (i.e. Party Pilipinas, on-going promos and other endorsement commitments).”
Sarah Lahbati, 18, is a Filipino-Moroccan GMA-7 talent who won the “Ultimate Female Survivor” and “Starstruck”. Since then, she participated in TV and movies as supporting actress, and eventual female lead star.
She has an upcoming movie, “Seduction” with on-screen and off-screen boyfriend, Richard Gutierrez, which will be released this January 30, 2012.
Sarah Lahbati had tweeted some of her sentiments about GMA-7 on Twitter, while GMA-7 revealed they were investigating the issue.
