Dear Lord, we thank you for this day. We thank you for allowing us to gather for this momentous Christmas Party.
We thank you for the life you have gifted us with.
We appreciate all those generous blessings you have bestowed on everyone present in this significant activity.
We are grateful for giving us the grace to gather together in your name.
May you continue blessing this party so that amidst our joy and merry-making, we would recognize your divine presence amongst us.
Grant that through this party we would learn to love each other more as you have taught us. May we learn from each other and share each other’s blessings.
We implore you to bless also those who are not in our midst today. May war-torn countries gain peace and love. May people around the world feel your blessed presence even amidst their poverty and misery.
May your Holy Spirit flood every person’s heart to the fact that Christmas is about you. It’s your birthday, and we should celebrate with you and for you.
Help us focus on spreading your love, instead of dwelling so much with material things. May we give instead of expecting to receive.
Grant that as we go home after all these festivities, we would learn how to be more helpful and concerned with people around us.
May we spread your all abounding love through our words and actions, because the essence of Christmas is YOU. Amen.
