James Arthur wins against an equally talented singer, Jahmene Douglas on the Grand Finale of the X Factor UK 2012, on December 9, 2012.
James sang ‘Let’s Get It On’ and “Impossible”, while his rival, Jahmene Douglas sang “Angels” and “Let It Be.”
James proved that being original helps a lot to win X Factor. He composes, plays musical instruments, and sings songs the “James” way, and the audience and X Factor judges love him.
Even during auditions he and eliminated contestant, Ella Henderson, were early favorites. Ella Henderson was eliminated when they were both in the Bottom 2 a few weeks back.
James Arthur introduces something refreshing to UK’s entertainment industry. He has the X Factor that everyone is searching for.
Jahmene Douglas is as talented as James Arthur and for sure fans had a difficult time voting for the winner.
