X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger cried after Jahmene Douglas sang “I Look to You”, a song by Whitney Houston, on the Top 4 semi-final stage of the reality singing competition.
Jahmene was lauded by the X Factor judges. Here are some excerpts from the judges’ comments.
Louis Walsh:
“Jahmene, you are in the semi-final, and you so deserved it, because you sing your heart out every week. That was so emotional.”
“You are going to a recording studio.”
“It’s Jah-mazing .”
“I think you’re incredible.”
Tulisa Contostavlos:
“You always sing beautifully. You always sing like you mean it. You always sing with a passion, but that performance is the next level.”
Gary Barlow:

Nicole Scherzinger was visibly trying to control her emotions:
“Keep it together,” to herself.
