Miss Saigon” 3rd call for auditions has Rachelle Ann Go, Aicelle Santos, Frencheska Farr as the successful candidates for the part of the ill-fated Kim in the stage play.

Rachelle Ann Go, 26, has won the Best Actress for her Disney’s The Little Mermaid in the Broadway World Philippine Awards for 2012. She has double platinum and gold records as a singer and has several TV appearances under GMA channel 7.

Frencheska Farr, 20, was named the Next Female Big Star in the contest “Are You the Next Big Star?” She is one of the TV hosts for Party Pilipinas on GMA Channel 7 too. Among her awards was the Most Promising Performer/ Singer in 2010 from the 42nd Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Awards.

Aicelle Ann Santos, 27, has been the undefeated Pinoy Pop Superstar for 8 weeks. She won the “Best Performance of Own Country Song” in Kazakhstan during the Astana Music Festival.

The credentials of the three aspirants are impressive. Who would the “Miss Saigon” execs choose?

The group of “Miss Saigon” with bigwig Cameron has been in Manila to conduct auditions for the cast of the stage play, and they are already in the 3rd process of screening candidates.

Thirty eight males and thirty eight females are also included in the 3rd call for “Miss Saigon’s” auditions.

The major roles to fill up are Kim, the Vietnamese bar girl who fell in love with an American G.I., the American soldier, and the engineer.

Lea Salonga originally played Kim, where she won the Tony Award for Best Actress, and a few more international awards.
