It was a phenomenal rise to stardom that even Phillip acquiesced – up to now; he had a hard time believing all these wonderful things were happening to him.
“Home” has sold more than 2 million copies worldwide and was certified a Double Platinum record. It is also at No. 2 on the Adult Pop Songs, and has charted in other Billboards in the US.
Phillip Phillips is the most successful American Idol alumni, as far as record sales are concerned. Although, runner-up Jessica Sanchez had Glee and other advertising commitments, she trails behind Phillip Phillips in record sales.
