Fifth Harmony’s “A Thousand Years” on X Factor USA 2012 was well applauded on November 7 by the judges, L.A. Reid, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, and Simon Cowell; would they be safe on November 8?

Fifth Harmony, previously known as 1432 and LYLAS, is composed of 5 teen girls who have diverse personalities, but who have come together as one because of music.

Normani Hamilton, 16, comes from Houston, Texas; Dinah Jane Hansen, 16, is from Sta Ana, California; Camila Cabello, 15, comes from Miami, Florida; Lauren Jauregui, 16, is from Miami, Florida; and Ally Broke, 19, is from San Antonio, Texas.

According to the girls, Normani is the fierce one, Dinah, the lovable and funny one, Camila, the adorable one, and Ally is the ‘little, big sister” of the group.

Fifth Harmony was the last to perform among the Top 12 X Factor USA contestants. Here are some comments from the judges:

L.A. Reid:

“…I was impressed I have to tell you that. I was impressed with your singing. I think you guys nailed it!”

“I couldn’t be more proud of you.”

Britney Spears:

“This week and last week is night and day. You guys just shine the whole way. You really did. I was really impressed.”

Demi Lovato:

“You girls are all powerful vocalists. That’s what’s different about you and the other girl groups.”

Simon Cowell:

“…The vocals was stunning, the performance was fantastic. I could not be proud of you, girls.”
