American Idol runner-up, Jessica Sanchez, sang “And I’m Telling You, I’m Not Going” with Allan K, one of the “Eat Bulaga” TV hosts, on September 20, 2012. Jessica Sanchez guested on the popular noon time TV show on GMA, Channel 7.
Phillip Phillips was supposed to be with Jessica but he was indisposed. They greeted Phillip happy birthday, anyway.
Asked how her American Idol tour was, Jessica replied that it has been amazing, and that meeting all the fans was the best part of it. She also added the American Idols agreed that the Manila performance would be the best part of their live tour.
TV host, Ryan Agoncillo, asked if she had plans to come back to the Philippines and perform solo, Jessica said nothing was confirmed yet, but there were offers, and that she would love to come back and sing for her fans again.
In the afternoon, Jessica Sanchez and the rest of the Top 10 American Idol finalists would tour the malls.
Before Jessica Sanchez left, Allan K, requested if she could sing a duet with him; he would be acting the role of Jennifer Holliday. Jessica obliged, and it was a truly entertaining “Eat Bulaga” episode.
The parting words of “Eat Bulaga” to Jessica Sanchez:
“We’re gonna love you forever, Jessica. You’re an angel.”
