American Idol runner-up, Jessica Sanchez, sang “You’re All I Need to Get By” at the 2012 Democratic National Convention with the God’s Appointed People Choir at the Bank America Stadium in Charlotte N.C.
The MC introduced the 17-year old as a “recording artist.” It sounds pleasing to the ears, because just a few months ago, she was just as an American Idol runner-up. Now, she is officially starting a predicted successful singing career.
In her official Twitter account Jessica tweeted how excited and honored she was to perform for U.S. President Barack Obama’s “party”.
“You’ve Got a Friend” singer James Taylor, Foo Fighters, Delta Rae, Mary J. Blige, Inspire the Fire, and Earth, Wind and Fire were also in the line-up.
Jessica Sanchez’s vibrato had made the song even more beautiful as she rocked with the choir in the background.
