MANILA, Philippines – Classes are still suspended on Thursday, August 2, 2012 in Navotas and Paranaque City in the pre-school to high school classes due to floods caused by continuous rains.
This was announced via Navotas City’s official Twitter account and Philippines local news, August 2, 2012.
In Valenzuela, the Karuhatan Elementary School and National High School have also suspended classes. Certain parts of Malabon, Obando and Bulacan remain flooded.
Meanwhile, the weather forecast tomorrow, Thursday, August 2, 2012 in Luzon and Western Visayas, predicts occasional rains, with signal #1 in Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands and Calayan.
Typhoon Gener is expected to leave the Philippines’ area of responsibility on Thursday, August 2, 2012.
