On the X Factor Philippines, July 7, 2012, the Daddy’s Home all male group sang “Sana Maulit Muli,” a song popularized by Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano. Gary was speechless a few minutes after their rendition.
Daddy’s Home is composed of fathers who had passion for singing. Their voices blended so well that they earned praises and a standing ovation from the four X Factor Philippines judges: Charice, Martin Nievera, Pilita Corrales and Gary Valenciano.
The studio viewers were on their feet cheering for them as well, those watching on TV believed that Gary V. was in tears that was why he was speechless.
Charice tagged Daddy’s Home as the local version of the international male singing group, Boyz II Men.
They were requested to perform a second song, which the audience and judges loved. After they earned 4 “yesses” from the X Factor judges, they went back to their kids backstage and cried in joy, while embracing them.
Previously, John Montera also impressed Gary V.. by singing “Take Me Out of the Dark.“
