The Pacquiao vs Bradley WBO investigation results are in and, as majority expected, it would confirm that the Filipino Boxing Champion won the fight decisively. This was disclosed by sports news sites, June 20, 2012.
Reportedly, the 5 international judges scored the video of the fight, 117-111, 118-110, 117-111, 115-113, and 116-112, all in favor of Manny Pacquiao; it was not even a close fight.
Celebrities from all over the globe trooped to Twitter to express their disgust, even those who were not rooting for Pacman, like Juan Manuel Marquez.
One of the judges mentioned that judging in boxing is not like judging at American Idol, and he was right, but perhaps he was judging another boxing bout?
It can be noted that boxing and American Idol can be mentioned in one breath, because runner-up Jessica Sanchez sang the US National Anthem during the Pacquiao vs Bradley fight.
WBO; however could not return the belt to Pacquiao, nor strip Bradley of the title. If this is the case, judges could commit errors with impunity, and literally rob genuine winners – without fear – because they would not be given any type of sanction?
