American Idol 2012 winner, Phillip Phillips, recuperates reportedly in one of the homes of an American Idol bigwig after his successful surgery. Phillip has also been able to tweet saying:
“Ready to be able to pick the guitar back up and REALLY play…..it’s been too long!”
Phillip Phillips also tweeted:
“Just want to tell everyone thank you for the concerns and prayers, it means a lot to my family and I. I’m just resting and healing.”
Meanwhile, American Idol runner-up, Jessica Sanchez, has been doing the rounds, singing the U.S. national anthem thrice since the end of the season. Jessica sang at the PBS, then during the controversial Pacquiao vs Bradley fight, and recently at the NBA finals between the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
All three performances were well applauded, proving that Jessica would be the next big star in the music industry. Jessica and the rest of the Top 10 American Idol finalists are already rehearsing for their American Idol Live tour.
Phillip Phillips confirmed he would be able to join the tour, which starts on July 6 in Detroit, Michigan.
