Phillip Phillips has suffered of kidney stones during the run of the American Idol season 11 show, but he came out triumphant, winning the whole competition.
Jessica Sanchez was the runner-up.
Phillip’s finale song “Home” even made idol history by landing 2nd in the Billboards Hot songs.
Reportedly, Phillips’ surgery “went well” and the reigning American Idol winner would be ready for the American Idol LIVE Tour, which starts on July 6, 2012 in Detroit.
All the American Idol Top 10 finalists are excited about the tour and of being together once again.
