A Filipina-American has made it to the finals of America’s Got Talent Season 18. She is a 25-year-old magician, who has a Filipina mother and is currently residing in New Jersey.
Anna DeGuzman awed the judges (Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Heidi Klum) and the audience with her astonishing magic skills.
Another Filipino singer, Roland Abante made it to the semi-finals and received standing ovations for his performances.
However, he was eliminated after the semi-finals, despite his YouTube videos gaining the most views among the AGT contestants.
During America’s Got Talent finale, Anna DeGuzman demonstrated her magical talent by guessing the card that the judges and the audience had chosen.
It was almost an impossible feat, but she successfully gained a standing ovation from everyone on the show’s finale last September 27, Wednesday.

Adrian Stoica and Hurricane won $1 million USD and will star in AGT’s Las Vegas Shows.
Anna DeGuzman is the first woman magician to reach 2nd place on AGT’s history.
She is also the first Fil-Am woman magician to gain such distinct honor.
