Elise Testone had proven that she had a mind of her own, but should she have listened more to the American Idol 2012 judges who just wanted to help her reach the finals?

Among the Top 6 American Idol 2012 hopefuls, Elise and Hollie Cavanagh received more constructive criticisms than the rest. Some viewers said that the judges were particularly harsh on both of them.

Jennifer Lopez during an interview with Hollywood Reporter said that if given the chance, she would like to use more her experience and knowledge to mentor the American Idol contestants.

“My Goal is just really to help them…”

Stating that they are harsh sometimes,

”…to help them get to the finals.”

In another interview, Elise reportedly said that she appreciated what the American Idol judges were doing but there were times, she did not agree with them.

Had she not been eliminated from the Top 6, she would have sung “Who You Are” by Jessie J or “A Little Help From My Friends” by Joe Cocker.

The remaining Top 5 American Idol 2012 contestants are:

  1. Jessica Sanchez
  2. Phillip Phillips
  3. Joshua Ledet
  4. Skylar Laine
  5. Hollie Cavanagh

The American Idol Live Tour is next in their agenda, once TV viewers select their American Idol champion.

Elise Testone is voted out from American Idol but her talent would surely “rock” the music industry eventually.
