The American Idol 2012 Results Show revealed the Top 5 remaining Idols for this season, April 26, 2012.
After the elimination of Elise Testone, the remaining 5 American Idol hopefuls are:
- Jessica Sanchez
- Phillip Phillips
- Joshua Ledet
- Skylar Laine
- Hollie Cavanagh
Elise Testone and Phillip Phillips were usually paired during duets, and sometimes the judges teased them about looking good together. Steven Tyler said Phil was blushing one time he was singing a duet with Elise.
Their recent duet “Somebody That I Used to Know” earned the highest views for American Idol 2012 duets. They looked good together and blend perfectly, but Elise is older than Phil by 8 years, so it may be a farfetched thing.
When Elise was eliminated, Phillip Phillips sent a short and sweet tweet to her:
