Hollie Cavanagh got praises from American Idol 2012 judges for Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” at the Top 7 April 18 Redux Performance Show.
Hollie who has been the underdog during the last few weeks finally earned the plaudits of the music pundits.
The judges said she finally stopped “thinking” and just performed her song and that made her performance excellent. Randy Jackson still has a bit of issue with Hollie’s voice being “pitchy” but he concluded that Hollie Cavanagh’s Top 7 performance had finally hit the mark.
Joshua Ledet got two standing ovations for his performance of his “Now and Then” songs.
Some music experts reportedly however, still ranked Hollie among the Bottom 3 of American Idol season 11.
