Colton Dixon, from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, was previously the lead singer of the Messenger, a Christian Rock Band.  Is he destined to become the next American Idol 2012 Champion?  Let’s look at some facts about Colton.

Colton came from the Middle Tennessee Christian School, and is not afraid to spread the Gospel of God through his music. Although, he was “warned” that singing religious songs might “alienate” other voters, he insists that, it is what he wants to do, even after American Idol season 11.

He plays the piano well as demonstrated in his AI performance song, “I Love the Way You Lie,” which has gotten thousands of hits at YouTube.
