What else would you expect from Global Sensations, BTS, than a Daesang sweep on both the MMA and the MAMA 2020 Awards?
Yes, the leJindary boys once more won all the Daesangs in both these annual award shows for the second consecutive year, 2019 and 2020.

Watch BTS phenomenal performance at MAMA 2020
With these recent awards, BTS is now the first act in K-pop entertainment history to receive more than 50 Daesangs, another record that the septet broke in their 7-year career.
BTS keep breaking records. Here are some of their outstanding achievements:
1. 1st Korean group to be nominated at the Grammys for a major award (Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category), competing with Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and Arian Grande
2. 1st Korean group to perform at the AMAs, BBMAs, and Grammys
3. 1st Korean group to top BB Hot 100
4. One of the 20 acts that topped the BB Hot 100 for 2 consecutive weeks
5. 1st Korean group to top BB Hot 100 with a Korean song
6. 1st Korean group to top BB 200 (5 times)
These are only some of the records that they have broken through the course of their successful career. The role of their fandom, ARMY, has always been acknowledged by the humble boys, every time they receive an award with the hashtag, #우리아미상받았네 (#OurARMYReceivedAnAward).
Previously, during the recently concluded Billboard week (December 5, 2020), BTS garnered the following rankings simultaneously:
BTS’ Billboard December 5, 2020 Rankings
1. #1 on Artists 100
2. #1 on BB 200
3. #1 on Hot 100
4. #1 on World Albums
5. #1 on Digital Songs
6. #1 on Billboard Global 200
7. #1 on Billboard Global Excl. US
8. #1 on Billboard’s Social 50
This feat has never been achieved by any artist in BB’s history. What’s astounding is that with the exception of “Dynamite”, all their songs are in Korean.
Thus, it’s no wonder that the Korean language is gaining traction worldwide. Soon, it will become one of the major languages in the world.
BTS has made the world smaller and united, with their ARMYs leading the way towards a better tomorrow.
