Two most awaited films, Christopher Nolan‘s final chapter of the Batman series, “The Dark Knight Rises” and “The Amazing Spiderman” will open on July 20 and July 2 respectively. This is according to entertainment news, April 9, 2012.
“The Dark Knight Rises” and “The Amazing Spiderman” are films of two superheroes, Batman and Spiderman. The themes of the movies though are more adult-oriented as the Batman film was rated PG-13, while the Spiderman film may get similar ratings.
“The Dark Knight Rises” stars Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. New members of the cast are Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy. Tom Hardy portrays Bane and Anne Hathaway plays Selina Kyle, the two new nemesis of Batman. It is distributed by Warner Bros.
“The Amazing Spiderman”, on the other hand, stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Spiderman. It also stars Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans. Spiderman’s nemesis is Dr. Curt Connors portrayed by Rhys Ifans, while Emma Stone plays Gwen Stacy. It is directed by Marc Webb and is distributed by Columbia Pictures.
