As expected. ARMY have already gone into action to celebrate BTS Jungkook’s birthday.
What else would ARMY do to express their love for the Golden Maknae?
This is a question that people are asking as the Golden Maknae’s birthday on September 1, Sunday is fast approaching. Twitter would surely explode with hashtags related to Jeon Jungkook.
Indeed, ARMY has already donated to a charitable institution; @TheGoldenUnion (The Golden Union) and @supporter_jk (Jungkook Supporters) have donated 1,000,000 KRW and 7,000,000 KRW to the Buk-Gu Rehabilitation Centre for the Disabled, under Jungkook’s name.
The center is located in Jungkook’s hometown in Busan. The donation will benefit disabled children and teens.
Although BTS is on official leave, hashtags have been trending on Twitter during the previous days. Recently, Jungkook related hashtags trended, when he posted a picture of him sporting his long hair.
Jungkook posted on their BTS official account on Twitter:
“Ami, how are you? I’m having a very happy day thanks to you guys.”
Within minutes Jungkook went trending on Twitter as fans reacted positively to the singer’s expression of happiness. Some ARMY expressed their desire to see him in a man bun on his birthday.
Also, Jeon Jungkook has broken records again with his new world accomplishments. This August, he was acknowledged by Google and YouTube as the artist who was the Most Popular in these platforms. He created also the most liked tweet in 2019, ranking third (of the most liked tweet of all time – 2.31 M likes) to Barack Obama and Ariana Grande’s tweet.
Seemingly, the Golden Maknae and his team members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, and Jimin are not on vacation mode. During their absence, they even won various awards from award giving bodies.
Reportedly, Vietnamese ARMY have also sponsored a Spotify ad for Jungkook in celebration of his birthday. This is another milestone for the young singer because for the first time a fan has created a paid ad for a K-pop artist.
The ad reads:
“HAPPY JK DAY. You are the cause of my EUPHORIA.”
Jungkook will be the first, ever, K-pop artist to be featured on Vietnam’s Largest LED Screen in Vincom Center Nguyen Chi Thanh in Hanoi.
Surely, more ARMY will come up with innovative and fruitful ways to celebrate Jungkook’s birthday.
What about you?
As ARMY, how would you celebrate Jungkook’s birthday? Will you compose a poem, sing a song for him, or buy him a Rolex watch?
Feel free to leave your thoughts on the comment section below.
BTS leader, RM, will celebrate his birthday on September 12, as well. Jungkook will be turning 22 on September 1, Sunday.

Other ARMY initiatives are also being accomplished right now, such as the cleaning drive in areas around the world. What an impressive fandom, ARMY is.
We Army are a movement as well as a fan base. There are many different charitable events that we do in honor of BTS as a whole as well as each individual member. Their message is one of love and acceptance and we honor that message by giving back.
