MANILA, Philippines – Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit the Philippines on November 20 and 21, 2018 and classes are suspended in some areas.

Mayor Joseph Ejercito Estrada has suspended classes in all levels, both private and public, and work in government offices in the City of Manila on November 20, 2018, Tuesday. This was recommended by the Manila Police District.

“…to ensure public order, safety and convenience.”

This Executive Order #41 was signed on November 16, 2018. This is a wise move as there may be disturbances during the visit.

Here’s a copy of Mayor Estrada’s order.
